Okay, I know it is just a twist-out. But what you may not know is the fact that I usually do not like the way my twist-outs turn out because my hair is fine. My hair just never fell right.
In my last post, I explained why I needed to trim my hair and I must say that the trim helped a great deal. I will rather have healthy full hair than some long hair with "see through" ends that look sickly.
So I am currently testing out some products sent to me by Beija Flor Naturals and I must say I love them. I used their Maracuja milk and Creme Brûlée to set my twists overnight.
The products did not weigh my hair down but I sprayed water as the last step due to bring paranoid about my twist out looking weighed down.
When I first took the twists down,
I wore my hair as shown below, to church
I am having my hair out for the next two weeks before the next protective style.
In those two weeks, my hair would be washed weekly and deep conditioned, alternating between moisturizing conditioner and protein conditioner. This is to correct any protein/moisture balance that my hair may be suffering from due to being in long-term protective styles.
Till next time, thanks for visiting my blog and God bless you!
