Kinky Twists| A low maintenance style for kids

My hubby especially, is happy about this style as he does not have to worry about the hairline frizzes.

You may not know but I work overnight and am not home in the morning most times, to fix my daughter's hair. She has the kind of hair that frizzes very easily making her new styles look old too early.

One solution to that problem is twisting her hair with Marley hair. The Marley hair is what I opted for because it blends so well with her natural hair.

Even if her hair starts frizzing  up early, the  bigger size of the Marley hair, compared to her natural hair will give the illusion that her hair is not so frizzy.

Maintenance:

To minimize the frizzes around the hairline, where the frizzes are most noticeable, I will only use Coconut oil to moisturize that area. Coconut oil actually penetrates the hair shaft and moisturizes hair.

The rest of the hair will be lightly misted with Aloe Vera juice and coconut oil.

I am keeping these for at least a month and at most 6 weeks, with the edges re-done after three weeks.

If kept for only a month, they will not be washed the traditional way but her scalp will be clarified with diluted Apple Cider Vinegar. If kept for 6 weeks, her hair would be washed the traditional way, after three weeks.

I think someone likes her hairstyle. She always does anyway!

Till next time, God bless you and thanks for visiting my blog
