Two Piggy tails with African Threading

After wearing Yarn Twists for a month, I got tired of having her hair in extensions, but I am still protecting her ends. So, I decided to re-visit threading.

As always, I added extra threads at the ends for length and to avoid knotting threads at the ends of her hair. Although, I have seen videos, whereby, threads were being knotted on the individual's hair, I just can't risk damaging her fragile ends. I prefer not to manipulate her ends. So, the extra threads added at the end are for knotting. This should last for 10 days before her scalp is cleansed.

Maintenance
Although her hair was washed, deep conditioned, moisturized and sealed with Jane Carter's "Nourish and Shine", the moisture would not hold for long. After a few days of threading her hair, her hair will be misted with Shea moisture moisture mist. I chose a commercial moisturizer because it has all the moisturizing and oil ingredients proportionately mixed. It is hard to seal threaded hair with oil, so I opted for a product that has all the ingredients accurately mixed together.
