Threaded Plaits in a piggytail/Week 5 of "Hidden Ends Challenge

Okay, I am seeing great results with this challenge that I might join her too. The threading method is absolutely great for  keeping your ends hidden. Expect to see more threaded styles. Threading is not as time-consuming and stressful as cornrows, and the styles last for the entire week.

I don't want to sound redundant, so I will not be writing about how this style is maintained, however, if you are interested , check other posts on threaded styles.

Thanks for reading this post. I hope you enjoyed it. If you have any questions, please contact me at coilybella@coilybella.com.

  1. looks nice...

i once tried threading for my madam but she pulled them out...i'll do them again and finish it the way u have done it..hope it lasts...do you have a video showing how u achieved the style?

will follow u on twitter now...pls follow back.. thanks

    1. Hey sis, I don't have any videos of my daughter but I think I may start doing videos showing how I style her hair, in the near future.

LOL at your daughter pulling the threads out. Mine would do the same if I did not bind the ends together:)

Will definitely follow u on twitter.

  2. I've also tried this a few times on my 2yr old daughter only to get frustrated when they start comin apart at da bottom in less den 2 to 3 hrs afta she's wore then.....I rather not use rubber bands at tha bottom so I jus started back braidn her hair,(sigh) have everythg down pack except fo when I reach da bottom of her hair any help/advice wud be most thkful,& btw I enjoy readn ya blogs.

    1. Okay, this is confirmation that I need to do a video tutorial. I can't really explain but I believe I will be more helpful demonstrating how I style her hair.
But before then, what I do is add a lot of threads to the ends of each plait so that they are all long enough to be pulled into one place.

      Thanks for visiting:)

  3. WOW! Look at Baby Girls Hair. I love it. I have not tried Threading on my daughter's hair. The closest I've come to it is Ghana Plaits. I liked them alot. It is just I think I left them in my daughters hair to long and she had a whole lot of lent when I took them out. I was being lazy lol. But I like how they last for a long time. I can't wait to view your video when you make it. Big Hugs

    1. Hi sisi,
LOL at the lent. I just made a video and it's yet to be edited. The way I make the plaits do not attract dirt or lent. Thanks for visiting;)Big Hugs to you too sis.

I will love to hear from you
