'Hidden Ends" Challenge:Week 2: Braids in Braids with Cornrows and twists

And the challenge continues.

This week's style:

Braids in Braids with cornrows and a few double strand twists

Before styling, her scalp was massaged with Castor oil, which was left in her hair all night. The next morning, her hair was co-washed with curls coconut dream conditioner. A little bit was left in her hair and sealed with Jane Carter's Nourish and Shine. Her hair was stretched with about 6 plaits.

products used:
Lavender Water and Jane Carter's Solution Nourish and Shine

1. Four Cornrows were made from ear to ear in the back section of her hair, the ends were twisted
2. Three additional cornrow were made from the crown area to the back, "meeting", the back cornrows

3.Two strand twists were installed in the middle section of her hair

4. About 10 cornrows were installed in the front section of her hair

the ends were flat-twisted into one twist, which was lengthened with a weave thread. I lengthened this with a thread so it can reach the back of her hair, that way, all her ends would be easily tucked in without any stress.

the lengthened twist and the ends of the three cornrows, from the crown area were braided together. The end of that braid was further braided with the ends of the cornrows in the back section, and the ends of that braid was braided with the two strand twists. The very last end was tucked in under. It comes out occasionally especially in the morning, I just tuck it back in.

Spray the edges lightly with Lavender water and slick back with castor oil every other day
Moisturize with a mix of water, aloe juice vegetable glycerin and coconut oil every two to three days.
