Two Strand Twists Challenge Update

We are still wearing out twists and enjoying them. This is what they looked like this past sunday

They have gotten quite frizzy since I washed them.. They are 10 days old in these pictures.

Little L's Hair was retwisted this past weekend after a cowash with Curls's Coconut Dream Conditioner

  1. Your twists look amazing for 10 days! I wish I could get anything to last that long in my daughter's hair.

  3. Looking good. I'm about to begin a protective style run in a bit. I have 'hand in hair" syndrome so that always a challenge for me :)

    Thanks!
I had to retest my daughter's after one week but I found out that when the twists are tied down at night, they last much longer.

    Thanks for stopping by!

    Thanks Char.
I needed the encouragement. This fine hair is not the easiest to manage.

I know Sis especially with the colder months ahead . I have that "hand in hair syndrome as well". That's why I do Protective styles to protect my hair from my hands....LOL

  9. Good job on your daughter's hai. I can see the growth and it is getting a little fuller. I too have a thin & fine hair 4yr old. Patience is the name of the game.

Have you considered sticking with one line of products, two maybe?

I only use the curl's line for her. Not sure what you were implying in your comment.

  11. Forget the twists. Your eye makeup is gorgeous! (not that the twists don't look good) LOL I was just struck by your eyes.

  12. Beautiful!! I don't know why my hair doesn't like twists. I can't keep them for more than 2weeks. If I do my hair will mat up!! To wash I must braid and rinse with conditioner and water...wahala. Yours seems to be holding up nicely.

I undestand sis. I also only use conditioner to wash them and put them in four braids, otherwise they would get tangled. I try not to keep them for more than two weeks before I redo them.
