I am a little late on this post but we were going to the beach last Saturday and I had to come up with a style that would protect the ends of my daughter's hair.
Even though I did not think about it when I was styling her hair, this hairstyle made it very easy to rinse out sand from her hair.
Her hair was cowashed with Curls Coconut Dream Conditioner and sealed with Shea Moisture Restorative Conditioner and Grapeseed Oil.
Her hair dried in four big plaits and so, was somewhat stretched the next day for styling.
I applied creamy Shea Butter Mix to each section before cornrowing.
I divided her hair into three parts and made cornrows, using, a "sliced pizza" pattern to cornrow her hair to the center.
The ends were two strand twisted and tucked in. I decorated each ponytail with Goody Ponytail holders with small cream colored balls.
And today, she is wearing the same hairstyle like as pictured below:
