My Thoughts
I like the packaging. The bottle has a pump, which makes it easy to dispense the product. This has  got to be one of the best conditioners I have ever used in my entire life. I love it!!!! It has a good slip, it detangles very well and it does not weigh my fine hair down. It has enough oils to seal my hair. I use it as a leave-in only on wash days. I apply it to damp hair and when my hair gets dry, I can easily run my fingers through my hair. Not only that, my hair feels very soft even after it is completely dry. In my opinion, this works better for me than the kimmaytube, knot today leave in(on its own) and Giovanni Direct Leave in. This one beats all of them by far!!!!. The pH is about 6.5 which is fine as it is within the acidic pH range, thus helping with sealing of the cuticle.  This conditioner was made for dry damaged overprocessed hair, however, it really caters to the needs of my thirsty kinky texture. I will not use this as a rinse out because it works better than any leave in conditioner that I have ever used. I use their hair mask as my rinse out when I do deep treatments. The scent is somewhat salty, I guess due to the sea kelp in it. It might be a little bit strong for those that are sensitive. I will DEFINITELY be buying again. However, the company says to use a dime size. You need way more than a dime size. I know I am pretty heavy handed with products but a dime size is not enough!!

Overall, I will rate this as a 4.8 out of 5 due to the amount of product recommended to be used. A dime sized amount, in my opinion, is not enough at all, for kinky textured hair.

Will I buy again? YES!!!!!!!. I will keep buying this product. It works well for my hair and my daughter's(it has all natural ingredient so I use it on my daughter's hair as well). I like the fact that it is affordable and accsessible (can be purchased from your Local Walgreens, Target and Duane Reade).

I love Shea Moisture products!  So far I've used their curl enhancing smoothie and deep treatment masque.  I want to try their shampoo next.  I'm mostly in love with the price.

  4. I can understand how this would work for your hair, because it is fine. For mine. it did nothing. I actually felt that water alone was more effective on my hair than this conditioner lol
