Princess L' s "Cornrow out"

Her hair was cowashed with Curls Coconut Dream Moisturizing Conditioner. Then I divided her hair into four sections. I sprayed each section with a home made moisturizer(water, aloe vera juice and vegetable glycerin). Then I sealed with Grapeseed oil and Shea butter.  The point at which each section meet in the middle resembles the apex of a triangle. I then began parting the section to be cornrowed from the"apex"(from the center of her head) down to the edges. I hope this makes sense. Well...the picture is pretty descriptive of what I am trying to explain. I alternated between thin and "less thin" rows.

How I maintain: I use Shea Moisture Moisture and Hold Mist to moisturize her hair every other day. Her hair is covered with a silk bonnet every time she lays down for a nap or to go to sleep at night. She is still home so she wears her bonnet all day unless we are going out. This really helps keep her hairstyle. It is a one week style but can be worn longer if it is covered properly at night.
