My Favorite EFFECTIVE Products

Hi Bellas,
Let me start by saying that I'm not a product junkie. If a product works for my hair, I stick with it. Here are the products I have been using for the past three months. Let's start with the shampoo:

California Baby Tea Tree & Lavender Shampoo & Bodywash
Description: tear free, helps to cmbat lice, cradle cap and flaky scalp, concentrated and biodegradable
for babies,kids and sensitive adults.

Some main Ingredients:Calendula, Vit E, B5, Tea Tree Oil, Aloe Vera,  Vegetable Glycerin, Yucca, Corn, Coconut, Palm, Soapbark,  and Amino Acids.

My Opinion: This product is mild and yet it lathers up like the strong stuff with lauryl sulfate. It really cleanses and it does not dry out my hair. It is definitely a keeper. I initially bought it for my little cutie but I decided to try it out and I have no regrets doing that.

Super Conditioner 10 en 1
Description: It contains a mix of the 10 most important products for hair damaged by dyes and sun's harmful effects. It is tropicalized for all hair types. That is why it is considered as a super conditioner.

My Opinion of this product: It is super mosturizing. It provides some serious slip. I am sceptical to keep using it as I recently discovered that it has Dimethicone, which might eventually dry out my hair. The immediate result is nice though. I am still testing  this one. I am not sure if it going to be a keeper.

                                         Description:Conditions and detangles unmanageable hair.

Ingredients: Nettle, Horsetail, Pure Cocoa Butter
My Opinion of this product: It is the best detangling product that I have ever used. I usually put a little bit in the section of my hair and I use my finger to"comb" thru. It immediately softens my hair. I still use a comb but I run it thrru my hair once. The pH tested at 7

Amla and Olive Heavy Cream

I  made a post about this. However, it is a holy grail. It is mosturizing. It is what I use after my wash to braid my hair, while it's damp. My hair soaks up the cream and It usually lasts for a couple of days before the need for re-mosturization. It tested at 6(pH)
Castor and Moringa Oil:

Description: Restores Softness, Flexibility and Shine
Ingredients: Pure Castor, Pure Moringa Oil, Pure Essential Oils and Fragrance

My Opinion of this Product: I use this as a hot oil traetment and also in my damp hair post wash. It really softens my hair. It also makes it very shiny. I use this to seal my ends as well. This is definitely a keeper.

MyGel (Joie)
Description: Hair Gel that conditions, thickens and nourishes, while it stimulates the roots.

Ingredients:Oils of  Coconut, Olive, Safflower, Peach, Basil and Aloe, African Shea Butter, Extracts of  Calendula Flowers, Horsetail, Rosemary, Onions, Panthenol, Biotin, Vegetable Glycerine, Plant Proteins, Vegetable Placenta Extract, Vitamins A,B,C, E and Natural Preservatives.

My Opinion: I love this Product. I use it on my daughter's hair since she gets her hair twisted. I have seen improvement in her hair since I started twisting her hair with this gel. I don't use it on my hair as I am braiding my hair at the moment. .My daughter's hair has gotten thicker and longer and this gel really mosturizes her hair. Her twists are usually very shiny.

  1. I would love to try that Super Conditioner! It looks similar to Silicon Mix. I wonder if I saw this in the beauty supply store or if I was mistaken...
